Thomas
McCalley Gorrell has a federal warrant for his arrest for violating
his supervised release. In 2001, Gorrell was convicted of bank
fraud and multiple counts of Burglary/Larceny, and sentenced to
time served. The original case charged Gorrell with created fraudulent
checks and defrauding banks of $98,560. After receiving a lenient
sentence, Gorrell violated his supervised release in September,
2002, by failing to contact his probation officer, failing to
make restitution payments, and by making his whereabouts unknown.
Gorrell's criminal history dates back to 1957 with over 15 arrests,
which include arrests for: strong arm robbery, DUI, Burglary,
forgery, and bank fraud. In 2002, Gorrell was living in Scottsdale
with his
girlfriend Ruth Wiekkala. They were also known to frequent Cave
Creek area. The couple was co-owners of Tom's Flyer Service, which
is no longer in business.
