On
November 13, 2003, EDWARDS was arrested in Phoenix by the Bureau
of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), for possessing
a destructive device (pipe bombs). On February 9, 2004,
EDWARDS was placed on bond by a United States Magistrate Judge.
In
March 2004, EDWARDS submitted a urine sample which tested positive
for methamphetamine. He admitted to using meth prior to
the test, and subsequently failed to report to his pre-trial services
officer. On March 30, 2004, an arrest warrant was issued in the
U.S. District Court for EDWARDS charging him with a pre-trial
release violation.
EDWARDS
is a regular user of methamphetamine and a chronic burglar stealing
from friends and neighbors. He resides in the Mountain
View section of Sunnyslope . He is known to have friends
in the 20th Street and Eugie Street, and 6th Street and Alice
areas. He also has a girlfriend near 12th Street and Orangewood.
EDWARDS
should be considered armed and dangerous and is said to carry
a handgun in his backpack. He also has ties to the Aryan
Brotherhood.
