| An
unusually large sunspot is pointed at earth according
to NASA. This sunspot is twenty times the size of
our planet and can be seen without a telescope.
This sunspot active region has the potential to
generate what is called a coronal mass ejection
with a potential force of a billion megaton bombs.
IF that happens and IF it hits earth with that much
force it could affect our orbiting satellites and
our power grid. Not good news with our recent power
crunch here in Arizona! Click
here for more on how the sun can affect our
power grid.
